I thought you were my counterpart but our two hearts are bleeding

i try to be furtive and not reveal to much

but my complaisant heart just wasn't strong enough

I consign this broken, burned, tattered, and beaten heart over to you

I laid in the middle of a field of wild flowers. I've been waiting for you all the hours of my life. I have stared at the sky, praying for it to pick me up and wrap me in baby blue serenity. I have made friends with the sun, who gives me her shine, so that I can be bright and beautiful too. Then at night the man in the moon smiles down on me and reassures my longing heart that each day holds new surprises and each night unwraps new secrets. After that, the stars swept me off my feet and danced me across the sky, until I fell back to the ground and the world found my piece of mind.
